On Saturday 18 August, the sixth annual Eco-Rally will showcase a wide range of future transport services and vehicles from some of the world's leading automakers and innovative new start-ups.
Many will be driven by familiar faces setting off in convoy from Oxford to London via the legendary Ace Cafe - proving that modern, eco-friendly cars, bikes and vans can get us from "A to B without the three Cs" (carbon, cost & congestion).
The event includes exciting new product launches from the likes of Ford, Zero Motorcycles and Rieju, plus mobility services and amazing fleet vehicles. City transport will be a hot topic in London during the 2012 Olympic Games and now the UK Government's Plug-in Car and Plug-in Van grants make zero emission transport even more affordable.
There will be opportunities to see the vehicles and associated products & services at all checkpoints en route. The parade will culminate at a display in Waterloo Place, central London.
